Stranger: Many americans, decades ago smoked
Stranger: When the Office of tobbaco Studies was tasked with investigating the health costs of smoking tobacco they ubiquitously found that smoking cigarettes was safe
You: So you think people are stopping to smoke because of your power hunger and not because of the mortality rate that cancer produces....?
Stranger: Had we EXCLUSIVELY relied on the tobacco industry to demonstrate the safety of their products tens of millions would have died
You: many people they did die and still do.t hat is the reason people stop smoking it wasn't because you regulated them :\
Stranger: I think many Americans stopped smoking because the government was forced to act on behalf of the general welfare of people
Stranger: And they did this by promoting mass information campaigns that I remember in visual media and in school hallways and classrooms
Stranger: Let me ask you this, are you glad that fewer Americans smoke today?
