You: cause you know we are not co-ops. regular businesses we put in our investment/time to build our businesses.
Stranger: If you want to build a normal business that copies everyone else, sure, but we are talking about innovative businesses.
Stranger: You need to have time to workshop and create something new before you bring it to market.
Stranger: That's the innovative part.
Stranger: And during that entire time it's not profitable.
Stranger: Most people I know that work on that kind of stuff do it during the time they are off from their jobs to mitigate risk.

You: right.... you kinda understand why co-ops can't work without investment because you are right. to be innovative you need to go hungry and work for free
