You: I believe that promoting business ownership would lead to a society with a deficit of workers making them a commodity and thus making business owners compete for their service. Often with better pay and benefits. promoting a society with less business owners creates a surplus of workers and less employers allowing them to be picky and and cheap.
Stranger: Again, I don't want to remove the incentive for entrepreneurs
Stranger: I believe in creating checks and balances to assure a decent treatment of workers
Stranger: Creating new source of revenue is important, but it's not legitimate if that revenue comes from costs you save from employees
Stranger: You may as well have no minimum wage and argue it's necessary for the economy as it incentives entrepreneurs with low income
Stranger: In my opinion
You: I understand. I can see your point when it comes to very big corporations which represent a small percentage of business owners. I think most business owners are small to medium size businesses. trying to regulate businesses based on the minority is not the best way to go.
Stranger: Actually I'd not have the medium class business owners placed to the same regulations as people of higher economic standing
Stranger: And do remember that while they're a minority, they own by far most of the wealth
