You: the economic system of socialism does not understand how business and the free market works. redistributing the current means of production often discourages single individuals to start new ventures giving the effort won't be worth it.

You: people are free to create collectives businesses and yet they cannot over power few owner businesses
Stranger: I think people are motivated by more than just money; late stage capitalism is a bit of a cynical choice for that reason

Stranger: Of course
You: I am glad. it sounds that you think everyone can be reasonable. or value logic for that matter
Stranger: I have unfortunately observed otherwise for most of my life but I sure wish it were true
