The priorities of the everyday man
Stranger: which makes you constantly feel 1000x less free
You: well we dont' govern on your feelings. we govern based on what is better for society
Stranger: everyone walking around with a gun/bodyguards, with their head on a Swivel. Is obviously not better for society either
Stranger: thats a way worse society
You: Well depends on your point of view and the focus you want to live by. Like I said you focus on security and yes that measure freedom can be cruel, just like nature is. However as it simulates nature the best it often gives us the best society. You think you are better than nature and you think you can create a society where chaos is little or non-existent but that is a utopia, and when people attempt it ends up in the collapse of nations.
Stranger: its not about my personal focus, its about the focus of the everyday human
Stranger: the everyday person doesn't want to have walk around constantly looking behind their back, thats irritating
You: doubt you or I know what the everyday human wants or needs....
Stranger: yes I do, thats incredibly obvious
You: that is why we should seek freedom. the freedom to let the individual decide such things and not someone who thinks they know better.
