You: I get it, but empty stomach is a very real feeling, hard labor is trully strenous and the human capital who can imagine a way out often do leave your society to join ours.
Stranger: Sure. And empty stomach goes down over time anyway. And an empty stomach to the average person in the West might as well be a full stomach to someone in the global south. Suffering is acclimatizable to a very high degree.

You: Well I don't mean to say your reality isn't there. I get how frustrating it would be to hear that coming from a capitalism view as you put it we have a problem with overfeeding from abundance.
