You: you may be an employee, like a CEO is an employee that is not the business owner. the business owner might of sell the business or put out in the stock market and now it is controlled by other employees doesn't mean or take away how the business was created by the business owner

You: oh then you didn't have a business
You: you were employed by a business owner as a sales Representative
