You: i mean i barely remember the meaning of the word and I am imagining some of it. but i would love to be educated on it.
Stranger: I don't think it can be understood by etymological inference

Stranger: existentialism begins with the premise that objective meaning does not exists
You: just looks at the roots of the word really. but please go on explain
Stranger: we are, as you mentioned, things propelling on a rock

Stranger: from this premise, existentialism continues to posit that humans have the capacity to create meaning ex nihilo
