Debating in bad faith
You: whats your point?
Stranger: If we relied on Camel or Marlboro for this truth we would light one up
Stranger: My point is something happened that changed our views
Stranger: Do you think it was a change of heart with the tobacco companies?
Stranger: Now is the reality that C Everette Coup began to investigate this issue and rendered the negative verdict that this stuff is, in fact bad?
Stranger: Mind you his administration was under Reagan
You: I just don't see how you tie that to how you are going to configure the government on what sectors it is going to control or not? so far what i am gathering is that because tobacco is wrong and somehow the research was link to gov that all of a sudden justify industries falling on the hands of the gov? besides that does not really make an example on the success of your economic model given that those studies pretty must killed the tobacco industry from it's days of glory
Stranger: So the basic idea here is that the putative role of a state is to protect individuals from malicious agents within and outside; within, that includes corporations
Stranger: Mind you a corporation is the output of federal legal code
You: I mean to some degree you made my point. letting the gov get theirs hands in an industry pretty mush kills the economic sector
