Stranger: you can't point to capitalists taking over our ability to produce the things we need and say, 'look, we need them because they produce the things we need'
You: right, business dont' start with money they aim to get the money. a business on itself is the service or product someone must come up that will bring you enougy joy that you will part ways from your money mate
Stranger: but they don't function if they can't produce profit
You: no they dont' function if they don't please you mate.
You: again do you go and give your money to just anyone or do you give it for something that brings you some type of value?
Stranger: that's why capitalist society will always keep people spending most of their time working, buying things that life in capitalist system causes them to desire
Stranger: the fact that we could live differently, consume differently, is not an option we're able to pursue
