You: I understand my question to understand better your position is what exactly would consider a threat that you would reasonably start thinking on suspending freedom in the name of "protecting" Americans?
You: mask mandate, is that a reasonable excuse to take the freedom of all Americans?
Stranger: Stopping at stop signs. Wearing a mask. Getting vaccinated. Driving the speed limit. Not dumping hazardous waste. Noise ordinances

You: so you want to protect Americans from as much harm as possible?
Stranger: I want to protect Americans from being dead , from saying tearful goodbyes via iPad while vented and sedated in an ICU, at the cost of the most minor inconvenience imaginable
Stranger: I shall review each case as it’s presented to determine what is and isn’t reasonable
You: Even thought by doing so you remove the freedom of many Americans and creates a framework for future "emergencies" the government wishes to declare?
