Animal suffering vs human freedom
Stranger: well they way we treat them is quite terrible
Stranger: for us to eat then
Stranger: them
You: we are at the top of the food chain.
Stranger: i wouldn't say that's relevant when talking about suffering and necessity
You: well the fact that we are should matter. it is an individual choice for the members of the top of the food chain
Stranger: it certainly is a personal choice to cause suffering
Stranger: but why choose that when you can choose not to inflict suffering
You: because I don't base my life decisions on the suffering of animals. I think that is you.
