Debating a human rights activist

You: well not a simpleton, attaining knowledge sounds nice. If I were to put into words, I am just this universe. Our universe is chaos. I mean we have hypothesize our birth as a universe to be a big explosion. I am just trying to be as unique as I can possibly be, seem that is what this universe is so desperate trying to tell us, I am just going with the flow.
Stranger: So you’re just going with the flow then? Being as unique as yourself as you can be while exploring what the universe had to offer?
Stranger: has*
You: yes understanding our universe would be a nice destination in my path if I attain immortality, I can imagine other destinations still further ahead. however that is all just a dream lmao. I am still working on becoming a billionare.
Stranger: I guess im not too concerned with things so much larger than me. I’d certainly love to be immortal, im sure many of us would, but that’s not something im willing to dedicate my life to. Im just trying to make the experience more bearable for those who are oppressed by others. Partially because I feel that’s my calling to our species, and partially because the universe is so big I’d rather not pain myself with trying to figure out it’s secrets and intricacies. Hell, I can barely understand physics as it is, ya can’t expect me to handle all those cosmic secrets
You: I understand, I am sure your wisdom will repay you kindly in your future as helping other in our society often brings about treasures in your life. Beware that if you try to enact change by making others do your bidding, you will end up getting headaches and pain as rewards. I feel like many activist don't understand
Stranger: I don’t seek to make others do my bidding. I’m just trying to make others have more rights. That was probably worded really shitty but that’s me for ya. I’m never going to run for president or start a company. I’m never going to run an organization for charity or for rights. I’m going to support those organizations. Now it seems like a lose lose, at least from your perspective I would imagine. Either I’m struggling to make others follow what I believe in or I’m being subservient and believing what I’m told. There has to be a middle ground somewhere, and I feel like when it comes to human rights activists it’s worth the pain and headache I get as a reward, and having talked to many activists I would say they agree. They live stressful lives, trying to manage organizations and such, but it’s worth it for them. Their progress that they’ve made for other people is worth the pain they have to go through to do so, especially because they know that the pain they’re going through can help alleviate the pain that is much much worse that thousands or even millions must endure
You: I understand, I don't want to be insulting and I feel like the debate often just falls directly into that direction once we start discrediting each others points. My words of caution would be that reality is not as beautiful as we want it to be. It is chaotic like I have expressed numerous times. t
