Stranger: I'm definitely not in the position to answer that, as I said I'm still ignorant on these worldly matters. The way I was brought up was pretty left wing (by my society's standards). I find some flaws in this world view though

You: You should give yourself more credit. and if you were indoctrinated into the left then you should proudly accept. otherwise you should just jump to the right....
Stranger: The right meaning conservative and traditionalistic way of life (usually influenced by religion or culture) and economically capitalistic. Correct?
