Marxist claims scientific proof for communism
Stranger: I’ll respond while that continues to upload. You’re framing is extremely disingenuous. I’ve already explained how Marxism is a perspective created to move past utopian perspectives. And what yearns for freedom exactly? The Cubans were liberated by their US backed right wing dictatorship. The Bolshevik’s were liberated from their tzars. And the CPC were liberated from the Chinese Nationalist Party.
Stranger: You realize the US funded and armed a literal dictatorship in Cuba before the revolutionary army liberated them right? Batista had literal slaves and tortured them often.
You: I happen to meet lots of cubans in high school, do you know they risk their lives to cross into Florida? do you think all of that is a myth?
Stranger: It’s funny because almost all of the Cubans who fled after the revolutionary army took over were from Batistas army and were part of the wealthy slave owner class in Cuba. It’s like if all the slave owners and confederate army members fled to Latin America after the civil war and kept bitching about how bad Lincoln was and how bad his system was.
You: so you think that doesn't happen in the present day?
Stranger: Despite the fact that Cuba afterwards improving significantly
You: wow
Stranger: I’m sure people leave Cuba today absolutely. They’ve been under a U.S. embargo for close to 60 years.
You: so why would they risk their lives to leave what you would describe as an improved society?
Stranger: Society definitely improved significantly after the revolutionary army won. Literacy rate and healthcare quality rose above the US standards even today. And Cuba still struggles economically, but due to the fact the the US refuses to let any allied nation do business with Cuba. If you opened up a small shop down the road from Walmart, and Walmart announced “anyone who does business with that life shop will pay.” Would you consider that a fair market relation for your shop?
